Monash Biomedical Imaging (MBI) is currently recruiting prospective participants to include their details in our MRI Volunteer Database.

This database will be used by researchers who are recruiting healthy individuals for structural and functional MRI studies at MBI. Most commonly, researchers conduct brain scans at MBI. By including your details in our database, information about upcoming MRI studies at MBI will be sent to you, and you can decide if you would like to participate in a study or not. You will only be invited to participate in studies conducted at MBI, and that have been approved by the Monash University Human Research Ethics Committee.

If you would like to participate in MRI studies and would like your details included in our database, please contact the MBI Volunteer Database Coordinator, Louise Mitchell: volunteer.mbi@monash.edu or (03) 990 50100. Ms. Mitchell can answer any questions you have before you decide to be added to the database.

This study has approval from the Monash University Human Research Ethics Committee – Project Number CF13/1161 – 2013000577
