Males aged in their 40s, 50s and 60s needed for brain scan study ($100)

Healthy males are needed for a brain research study. The study involves an initial screening session over the phone and then 2 x 45-minute brain imaging (MRI) scan sessions, separated by a minimum of 1 week between sessions. During the MRI sessions you will be asked to administer one of two treatment conditions (oxytocin or placebo nasal spray) and complete two computerised tasks involving facial expressions during the scan.

Location: Monash Biomedical Imaging, 770 Blackburn rd, Clayton VIC.

Eligibility: Healthy males, right-handed; between the ages of 40-69 years; non-smoker and no drug/alcohol abuse; medication free; and no metal objects present in body (or which can’t be removed or which is not MRI safe).
